BAHA — A fire that was set in a junkyard in Al-Aqeeq was extinguished by municipality staff after citizens’ complaints. Baha Municipality spokesman Sadiq Al-Sheikhy said the speed of the wind caused the blaze to spread. The smoke from the fire was obstructing nearby traffic as visibility was affected. The junkyard belonged to a contractor and the municipality has issued fines and violation notices to him.
