ASIR — Forty-nine medical staff escaped death after the bus carrying them caught fire Thursday. The bus was heading from Abha to Makkah when the accident happened. Civil Defense and Red Crescent teams rushed to the scene and evacuated the bus. No one was injured. All passengers were provided with temporary accommodation until another bus arrived to take them to their destination. A senior official from the Civil Defense attributed the cause of fire to engine overheating. — SG
