JEDDAH —  Saudi Student Club in Houston bagged the first place among the Saudi student clubs in the state of Texas, which includes the largest number of student clubs in America and the third place on the level of Saudi Student Clubs in the United States through their various educational, cultural and social activities, in an unprecedented achievement in its history.



Mohammed Al-Khodier, President of Saudi Students Club in Houston, received the certificate with the attendance of the Saudi Cultural Attaché and vice chairman of the Saudi Student Clubs in America, Muhammad Al-Issa and Saudi consuls during the 37th meeting The Saudi Student Clubs in Washington DC at US universities to discuss various issues of concern to Saudi students as well as honoring the outstanding and distinguished clubs.



Expressing his happiness on the occasion, Al Khodier said, “We very happy to receive such a valuable certificate which recognizes our club as one of the most active clubs among Saudi students clubs in the US. We really strove hard to ensure that students get the most out of their time at university with various activities.”



He also praised the continued support of the Saudi Cultural Attaché and the Saudi Consul General in Houston, Sultan Al-Anqari.  He also explained the importance of the role played by Saudi Students Clubs in representing Saudi students’ community within other students’ communities in American universities as well as briefing others on the history, civilization and heritage of Saudi Arabia. Participants in the meeting included nearly 280 presidents of Saudi clubs from various US universities, cities and states.
