Saudi Ministry of Media launches periodic briefing to improve govt communication

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Media is launching a periodic press briefing with an aim to improve government communication and it will be attended by ministers and heads of government agencies and sectors. The monthly press briefing comes in implementation of the Kingdom’s leadership’s directives, which aim at raising the level of communication with citizens, providing more transparency and openness toward the media, establishing an interactive platform for government news, illustrating the latest governmental developments and decisions, and highlighting all Saudi Vision 2030 achievements. The periodic press briefing represents a new approach to government communication and will be launched on Thursday (Nov. 19, 2020). It will aim to answer media professionals' questions and shed light on the most prominent topics and current issues. — SG
