JEDDAH – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah has arrived in Jeddah to reassure the public and to prove that the exaggerated and false rumors about coronavirus are not true, said Prince Miteb Bin Abdullah,  Minister of National Guard, in an address to the students of King Abdulaziz University here on Wednesday.

He said the MERS situation is reassuring and it has not reached the level of an epidemic.

The King made an unscheduled arrival in Jeddah to be near the citizens the way he did in Jazan some two years ago at the time of the Rift Valley Fever there, Prince Miteb said.
