RIYADH — The Philippine Embassy has reiterates that all eligible irregular Filipinos, who have failed to correct their work and residency status, to immediately register with the Philippine Overseas Labor Office (POLO) here.
A statement issued by the embassy said the call is being made in preparation for resumption of regular procedures at Wafideen for processing of exit visas.
The advisory only applies to Filipino workers who absconded before April 6, 2013 and whose employers had filed absconding reports against them.
To register, email name, contact number and other details to POLO — Riyadh at email@example.com or call at tel. (011) 4832201-03 ext. 200 on or before Feb. 18, the statement said.
The embassy will include those who are registered for endorsement to Wafideen at Shumaisy for fingerprinting and processing of their final exit visa.
Consular team visiting Ras Tanura
A Philippine Embassy consular team will visit Ras Tanura in the Eastern Province to conduct mobile consular services or an “Embassy on Wheels” (EOW) activity, as it is more commonly known. The two-day EOW will be held on Feb. 14-15 at the Dawah Islamic Center in Ras Tanura. The EOW will cater to passport renewals, fresh passport applications for new-born babies, notarial services, reports of birth processing and other consular services.
