Club for Saudi students at Penn State approved

PENNSYLVANIA — The Cultural Attaché’s Office in Washington has approved the establishment of a club for Saudi students at Pennsylvania State. 
The club is designed to support and solve problems of scholarship students and those accompanying them may face. After receiving approval, the student body elected the administrative board for the club.

Engineering student Abdulrahman Khaled Al-Rasheed won 85 percent of the votes to become chairman while Hanan Al-Muhadhab was elected the Vice Chairwoman of the club.

Abdullateef Al-Qahtani was elected to handle the club’s financial affairs, Badr Al-Ghamdi as secretary and Abdullah Al-Ma’idy was placed in-charge of public relations.

The elections committee included Faisal Al-Ghamdi, Nawaf Al-Owhali and Dhafer Al-Qahtani.
