JEDDAH — Saudi security forces arrested three men in Qatif Saturday, including one wanted for an attack on a police patrol last month, said an Interior Ministry spokesman Sunday.

Hussein Muhammad Ali Al-Musallam was detained at a house Saturday where he was hiding from police. He was involved in a shooting in August that killed First Class Private Hussein Bawah Ali Zabani and wounded First Class Private Saad Miteb Muhammad Al-Shammary, the spokesman said.

Hassan Abdul Aziz Muhammad Al-Darweesh and Hassan Ali Hassan Al-Mubaireek were also taken into custody during the raid in which no one from either side was injured.
