VALENCIA – The Oceanogr?fic is part of the spectacular City of Arts & Sciences located in Valencia. It’s the largest aquarium in Europe and contains representatives of the world’s main marine ecosystems.

The park is home to 45,000 animals of 500 different species including fish, mammals, birds, reptiles and invertebrates all inhabiting nine underwater towers that represent the major ecosystems of the planet: Mediterranean, Wetlands, Temperate and Tropical Seas, the Antarctic, the Arctic, Islands, Oceans, and the Red Sea. Learn about sharks, penguins, dolphins, sea lions, walruses, beluga whales, and many more!

Take pleasure in admiring the amazing entrance to the marine complex and visit the underwater restaurant, where you can eat surrounded by many marine species, including sharks.

The Oceanogr?fic is, above all, a place of education and conservation, to inspire children and adults to care for the planet’s underwater life. — SG
