URAWA, Japan — Substitute Chioma Ubogagu scored early in extra time on Friday as the United States beat North Korea 2-1 to advance to the semifinals of the women’s under-20 World Cup, while defending champion Germany coasted to a 4-0 win over Norway to also reach the last four. Ubogagu headed in Crystal Dunn’s pass in the 98th minute to send the US to a semifinal matchup with Nigeria Tuesday. Germany will face Japan in the semifinals Tuesday. Japan’s senior women’s team beat Germany 1-0 in the quarterfinals of the 2011 World Cup in Wolfsburg before going on to claim the title. — AP
