PICPAWRTC installs new officers

JEDDAH — Educational organization PICPAWR (Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants - Western Region) Toastmasters Club 1028833 conducted its 6th Annual Installation of Officers recently at a restaurant here, club officials said on Saturday.
 
The group's incoming President TM Pedro M. Tamang said the well-conceptualized event was organized by the new set of officers.
 
Tamang said TM July Palomar ACB/CL, Area 28 Governor, served as the Installing Officer and TM Mohammed Ilyas Momin ACS/ALB, Division H Governor, served as the keynote speaker.
 
Tamang said Immediate Past Division G Gov. Ma. Teresa O. Villanueva, ACB/ALS; current District 79 Lt. Governor for Marketing (LGM), DTM Joey Villanueva; and current District 79 Lt. Governor for Education and Training (LGET) DTM Ben Guerra also delivered inspirational speeches
 
The event's theme was “Sustaining the Legacy of Excellence,” which Tamang stressed is a propelling force for the club. According to him, the theme is not a mere concept, but reminds them that as PICPAWRTC members, the group is dedicated to excellence.

The installation was graced by known personalities and authorities of the organization from the Area, Division and District levels. Due to realignment of the clubs, PICPAWRTC now belongs to Division Area 28 of Division H.
Tamang further said that the club is committed to fostering the development of Toastmasters' self-confidence and personal growth.

“Altogether, we can act with a new vibrancy to define excellence. PICPAWRTC epitomized this objective three years in a row and we can claim to have the same for this term because we believe in everyone's dedication in keeping the fire burning to excel,” he said.
 
Other notable figures present were TM Dennis Oppus ACS/ALB, Area 24 Governor of Division G; TM Danilo Abenes ACB/CL, Past Division Governor; TM Lakhsman Sockalingam ACG/ALB, past member and Area 18 Governor of Div. H; TM Glenny Sibag ACB/CL, Past President and Division H ADGET; DTM Reggie Maga, Past President and Division G Governor; TM Myla Abenes CC/CL, PICPAWR TC's mentor; TM Noriza Guerra ACB/ALB, PICPAWR TC's sponsor; and other clubs' officers from different areas.
 
The incoming officers for this administrative year are: TM Pedro M. Tamang CC, President; TM Mario Germino, VP Education; TM Mofiedah Daknash CC, VP Membership; TM Abdullah Hussein Al-Attas, VP PRO; TM Ruth Joy Torre CC, Secretary; TM Jeffrey Ramos, Treasurer; and TM Michael Marquez, Sergeant at Arms.
