Passport police raid Jeddah neighborhoods

JEDDAH — The passport police raided several houses in Al-Rawdah and Al-Marwah districts of Jeddah after they received information about people with unknown identity and runaway housemaids living in the area. After a period of monitors, the authorities discovered that many people living in some of the neighborhoods did not have valid residency permits. An order was issued to round up the illegal residents. Subsequently, the residency violators were arrested and sent to the deportation center. — SG
