Municipality worker commits suicide

TAIF – Police here discovered the body of a municipal official who committed suicide. A citizen alerted them after he noticed a foul smell coming from the office that belongs to the Taif municipality. When police arrived at the location and opened the door, they found the municipal official dead inside the office. Police arrived with teams from the forensic department to collect evidence from the scene. The man, who was in his 40s, had a history of psychological problems and police said he took his own life. — SG
