Expatriate sentenced to 5 years in jail

RIYADH — Riyadh Court sentenced an Arab expatriate to five years in jail and 400 lashes for having an illicit relationship with a girl and threatening to expose her on the Internet. He was also found guilty of blackmailing other girls after police found incriminating photos of other women in his cell phones. The man resisted arrest when police tried to apprehend him and is also accused of using a knife against an officer. — SG
