RIYADH – Nasir Mehmood Abbasi of KFSH Blues slammed a swashbuckling 118 off 59 balls against Amir Holidays and guided his team into the last four of the ongoing RCA T20 Summer Cup being played at RCA cricket complex grounds.


Batting first at RCA-1 ground, aided by Nasir Mehmood Abbasi’s swashbuckling 118, KFSH Blues amassed 248-3 in their allotted overs. Ayaz Mohammed (56) and Qaiser Mehmood (21) were the other main scorers for KFSH Blues.

In reply, Kamran Hadi’s fine knock of 89 for Amir Holidays went in vain as KFSH Blues coasted to an easy 88 runs victory. For KFSH Blues, Raja Gulraiz bagged 3 wickets conceding 24 runs while Ayaz Mohammed and Saqib Abbasi took 2 wickets each conceding 17 and 22 runs respectively.

At RCA-4 grounds, Musabhser’s fine all round performance (73 runs and 2-28) helped Riyadh Fighters beat Al-Hamra by 7 wickets.

Batting first, Al-Hamra scored 192. Mubasher and Imbrose took two wickets each conceding 28 and 28 runs respectively.

In another match, Attieh Steel’s Ramzan was in top form (70 not out and 3 wickets) which helped his team beat Pak Eagle by 7 wickets at RCA-2 grounds.

At RCA-3 ground, Tauseef’s fine innings of 80 runs helped Riyadh Panthers beat Tigers by 6 wickets. Batting first, Tigers scored 160. For Riyadh Panthers, Waqar (3-24) was the most successful bowler and was well supported by Raza (2-18) and Mithu (2-25).

In another match, Imran XI beat Pak Force by 6 wickets at RCA-5 ground. Batting first, Pak Force was all out for 176. Hazrat Hussain took 4 wickets for Imran XI. Chasing the target, Imran XI helped by Mohmood 44, Hazrat Hussain 28 and Morad 48 romped home by losing 4 wickets.
