Protest against Hong Kong new leader

Last updated: Monday, July 02, 2012 12:23 PM

A line of trams are blocked by tens of thousands of Hong Kong residents as they march in a downtown street during an annual pro-democracy protest in Hong Kong Sunday. The march was an occasion for ordinary people to air their grievances over a range of issues. There is rising public discontent over widening inequality and lack of full democracy in the southern Chinese financial center. — AP
