Elissa’s new album a hit in Saudi markets

BEIRUT — No sooner had Lebanese singer Elissa’s album been released in the Saudi markets than it became an instant hit. Although the album was released a week ago, there has been a heavy rush for her album which includes the song “Happiest Woman.”

Some record stores in Riyadh have reported sales of over two thousand CDs in the first week despite the fact that the price of the album has increased from SR15 to SR25. — SG
