ABHA — Asir Municipality seized 6 ice cream trucks that were selling contaminated ice cream to children and warned the public from buying ice cream or other food produces from the trucks. A source from the municipality said the trucks multiply during the summer and spread out all over the Kingdom’s cities. He added that the municipality carried out a series of raids against the trucks to protect the health of the general public.

“These ice cream trucks are committing many health code violations and the workers in the trucks often lack residency papers,” he added. — SG
