BRIDGESTONE has recently launched for the first time in Jeddah the two-day second GCC Tire Safety and Eco Station (TSES) campaign at Red Sea Mall.

The campaign will be held around GCC. It aims to decrease numbers of regional road accidents through education awareness on correct tire and maintenance.

Bridgestone urges drivers to understand the key role of tires for keeping a vehicle safe on road, and taking a few minutes to check the car’s tires before driving can significantly reduce the risk of having an accident.

TSES provides people to learn some simple and quick tips on tires that should be a routine for every driver before driving.

Deep Rajendran, Corporate Communication and training Manager at Bridgestone, told Saudi Gazette that they are giving people very easy steps to maintain tires.

"TSES campaign educates the public to increase the awareness of taking care of tires to be safe on the roads," he said, noting that it is its very important to take care of the tires especially in these countries characterized with a very high temperature.

"We teach people how to check the tires, how to maintain the air pressure, how to select the right tire and some kind of important information." The TSES station has also a section especially dedicated to kids, where they have fun with eco-themed drawing.
