3 held for verbally abusing coast guard officer

YANBU — Three Saudis were detained after they verbally abused a coast guard officer on Wednesday. According to a report published in an Arabic daily, the officer was on a routine patrol when he spotted the three Saudis swimming in dangerous waters. When the officer warned the men not to swim there, they began verbally abusing him. The officer contacted the local police and they promptly detained the three for further questioning. — SG
