CAIRO –– Egyptian actor Omar Al-Sharif is now in France waiting for the presidency elections results in his country. Depending on the outcome, he will complete the shooting of his new movie “One Rumor is Not Enough,” or to stop it if Muslim Brotherhood candidate wins the elections.

Enas Bakr, spokeswoman of Al-Sharif, told Egyptian newspapers that he has decided to leave Egypt forever if Muslim Brotherhood wins because he knows he will not be accepted there. Al-Sharif was a Jew before he reverted to Islam. She said they previously accused actor Adel Emam of defaming the religion although he was a Muslim. — SG
