Fireworks display during the launch of Abha Brings Together, the city’s summer festival, Thursday night.

Prince Faisal Bin Khaled, Emir of Asir region who also heads the Tourism Development Council and the festival higher committee, attended the launching ceremony at Festivities Ground in Abha. Arabic poetry reading and an operetta were among the festival highlights on the opening day. — SG/SPA
