Jazan man stabs wife to death

JAZAN — A Saudi man in his 50s stabbed his 61-year-old wife to death in Jazan after a heated argument. The crime took place on the eve of their daughter’s wedding.

After he stabbed his wife, the couple’s son intervened and rushed his mother to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead. The reason for the argument was not known.

Police arrested the man and are investigating the case.
