Police foil suicide attempt

MADINAH – Madinah police have foiled a suicide attempt by a mentally ill patient. The man initially tried to hang himself from the pedestrian bridge in Al-Jurf neighborhood, but fled when passersby tried to intervene and stop him. He tried again from the top of a nearby building, but by then the police had arrived. – SG
