Celebrating Mother’s Day with joy

Pakistan International School (Nasiriyah), RiyadhA magnificent function in honor of mothers was held at Pakistan International School, Riyadh (Nasariyah).
 

 


It was presided by the Headmistress Mrs. Fauzan Azim Bhatti, and in attendance were children and teachers of all sections.
The function commenced with the recitation of a few verses from the Qur’an by a young girl. It was followed by children expressing their love and gratitude for their mothers through poetry and skits. It was hosted by Naumana Usman and Gulnaz Asif.

The students who delivered speeches were Hassan Ghazali of Nursery A, Abdullah Mumtaz of KG-A, Muneeb KG-B, Subhan IA, Abdul Raheem IIC, Hamza Javed IIB, Muhammad Bin Javed IIE, Abid Ali IIG, Omer Abbas IIF, Abad IH, Aurangzeb IA, Amina Bilal KGB, Abdullah Abid IID, and Abdullah Amin IIA. After the delivery of speeches by the tiny tots, the teachers stepped on stage to make the children further realize the importance of having a mother in their lives. They quietly and seriously paid attention to every word uttered by the teachers, and toward the end the children promised to try not to hurt their mothers’ feelings or annoy them in any way. Bhatti also addressed the gathering and said that celebrating Mother’s Day is a sign of love which we have for our mothers. She said as Muslims we love them from the core of our hearts, no matter how old they become. Bhatti also admired the organizers for organizing such a splendid program and appreciated the effort of the teachers who have prepared the children.
Principal Nadir Alam of PISR praised the function and bucked up the children in his written message. — SG
