Whenever anyone asks me on how I feel on being a teacher, my first answer is “happy.” Yes, indeed that is the first feeling that comes out of being a contributing member to the society, being a guide to the new generation, to have their trust, by being close and motherly to so many kids at school.

Being a teacher brings lots of love and smiles each day, the joy of their achievements makes me content and gives me tremendous satisfaction. It makes me feel that all my effort toward them has gone in the right direction.

Although, every profession has its own charm, being a teacher, surrounded by children at school each day gives me new lessons too. I feel rejuvenated when I am with them, I feel proud when I see these young buds blossom into flowers. It depends on us how we nurture them because it is in our care and guidance they become great citizens or professionals of tomorrow.

Hope and enthusiasm never dies for a teacher!
