Last updated: Thursday, June 14, 2012 12:43 PM
A SEHAI student shows his technical skills before visiting Saudi and Japanese executives.

JEDDAH – SEHAI conducted recently its second skill presentation at Diraiya campus, in the presence of Hari Krishna, Vice President of Olayan Financing Co.; Yasunari Moreno, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission at the Embassy of Japan in Saudi Arabia; and other guests from Al-Essa (Hitachi), Modern Electronics (SONY), Mitsubishi Electric, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), High Institute for Plastic Fabrication (HIPF), and Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME), among others.

The students politely demonstrated equipment utilization by using their actual training materials, such as Konica Minolta’s Multi-function Printer (MFP) and AC from Daikin, Zagzoog (Fujitsu General), Al-Essa and ALJ (Sharp).

Their attitude and communications impressed the Japanese visitors, since they understand that customer satisfaction is a very important factor for the business. The event was part of SEHAI curriculum to show their technical skills acquired in SEHAI.

The visitors also admired the students’ teamwork and English-spoken technical performance in each field of control technology, air-conditioning, home appliances, PC & office equipment, and electronics technology.

After the presentation, the most cooperative student, the best performance student, and the best skill presentation student were awarded by Fahad Al-Harbi, Director of SEHAI and Sawaguchi, Project Leader of JCCME. – SG
