Saudi executed for drug trafficking

JIZAN — A Saudi citizen, Ahmed Bin Ali Hamdi, was executed here Sunday after being convicted of drug trafficking, the Interior Ministry said.

Hamdi was arrested after taking delivery of a “large quantity of hashish,” the ministry said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency. — SG
