Saudi officer killed at checkpoint

JIZAN — A Saudi police officer was killed when he was hit by a car at a checkpoint.

Police said the car was out of control and struck the officer at a high speed, instantly killing him.

The body of the officer was taken to a hospital morgue while police continue to investigate. — SG
