Age no barrier for seeking knowledge!

MAKKAH — In 1980, an 18-year-old Saudi man had to drop out of high school and get a job to support himself and his family. He continued work for 32 years until he recently decided it was time to quit his job and go back to school and get his high school diploma. The oldest and happiest member of the class of 2012, the 50-year-old man said his passion for learning is what motivated him to go back to school. And the man’s education has just begun; he also announced his intention to enroll in a university and asked education officials for help him in getting admission. — SG
