JEDDAH — A large number of interesting activities marked the “Ladies & Kids Carnival” organized by the International Indian School Jeddah Alumni Association (IISJAA) on May 31 at the Indian Consulate.

More than 500 ex-students ladies and invitees visited the much awaited event. The crowd was enthralled by scintillating performances from the ex-students who danced on famous Indian songs. The highlight of the evening was the Flash Mob act by the group which mesmerized the crowd with their dance steps, the excitement motivating the crowd to join them.

There were stalls set by various members of the community which included food stalls, parlor, cloth boutiques, Jewelry, Art Display and displays by FMCG Companies like Suntop, Britannia, Lotus Biscuits.

For the kids there were gigantic inflatable slides and a basketball ring which kept them busy in their own world. Competitions such as lemon-spoon race, potato gathering and coloring were also organized for them.

A quiz session was also held for the crowd and the winners were given instant prizes, along with another special quiz contest for both mothers and kids.

There was a raffle draw the prizes of which were sponsored by LG, Shareefa Collections, and Mushir Alam Perfumeries. Amanaz Collections donated a few jewelry items to be auctioned and money collected was donated for a charity. The amount collected from the raffle draw will be utilized for IISJ needy students funds.
