Suspect in Al-Ais murder arrested

MADINAH — Police in Al-Ais province, north of Madinah, arrested a man suspected of shooting one of his colleagues dead. The motive for the killing was not known. Eyewitnesses said the man brought a rifle and shot the victim without any provocation. The victim died on the spot instantly. Police sealed off the scene of the crime and took the suspect into custody within 12 hours of the incident. Police are still investigating the motive behind the crime. — SG
