Dead baby found near mosque bathroom

BURAIDAH — A group of women found the body of baby boy near a mosque’s bathroom in Buraidah. They immediately called police and investigators and a forensic doctor were dispatched to the scene. Col. Fahad Al-Habdan, Al-Qassim Police spokesman, said initial investigations showed the infant died of natural causes.

“No marks of torture were found on the infant’s body. The hospital will issue a medical report to this effect,” he said. News of the discovery went viral on social networking sites and some claimed that the infant was brutally tortured to death.
