HAFR AL-BATIN – A five-car traffic accident in Hafr Al-Batin Governorate, 500 kilometers from Riyadh, led highway patrol officers to a liquor stash in one of the cars.

The accident happened when two drivers swerved off the main road while trying to avoid a head-on collision and crashed into three cars at a traffic light. The injured were rushed to King Khalid Hospital while the driver of the car where the liquor was found fled the scene. Lt. Col. Dhaifallah Al-Jabali told Okaz “large quantities of liquor were confiscated from the car.”
