Rushing towards the bushes, searching beneath the branches,
Stumbling between tall crops,
They’re taking so many chances,
And they never make any stops!
Climbing over fences,
Thinking they’ll find me soon,
They’re using all their senses,
But they didn’t find me even at noon!
They’ve looked inside the shed,
And in the greenhouse too,
They tried a little more ahead,
Then they started anew!
To hide in such a place
It is such great fun.
To them it’s a great big race
Even if it means to sweat in the sun!
Now we’re all getting tired,
Tim says to look under the sacks,
Now that was something I admired,
For under the sacks was my place, they had found me after all their silly acts!
