Graduation ceremony for third graders

A graduation ceremony was conducted for third graders studying in Al Waha International School on May 10. The main purpose of holding the event was to present the “Roll of Honor” award to those students who have been consistent achiever in not just academics but also extra curricular activities throughout the year.

This year the coveted award was presented to Omar Aslam Mukkadam, Sarah Binte Zafar and Najaf Ahmed.

Another interesting segment of the event was a debate for the youngsters and topic given to them was: The best source of enjoyment: Malls or Parks.

Seven participants from each team battled with fiery claims and arguments in favor of and against the topic.

The best speakers of the debate were Adam Lone and Omar Aslam Mukkadam. — SG
