CAIRO — In solidarity with the Syrian people, Tunisian singer Latifa decided this week to delay the release of her new album.
“It’s gut-wrenching to see Syrian women, children and men get killed needlessly every day. I’m not going to release my album this summer because this is how I want to show my respect for the dead souls of Syrian people.” The album has several patriotic songs. — SG
