flydubai takes in-flight entertainment to new heights

flydubai took in-flight entertainment to new heights with the launch of the revolutionary Fiber-To-The-Screen (FTTS) In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) system from Lumexis in November 2010. This enabled the company to become the only airline in the world to screen movies in High Definition.
This March, it took another leap forward with an enhanced IFE offering – 500 hours of non-stop entertainment featuring 156 Hollywood, Bollywood and Arab movies, 161 TV programmes and 288 music albums. It is the only airline in its class to offer such an extensive range, ensuring that its passengers flying to more than 45 destinations never experience a dull moment.
Every seatback on flydubai’s brand new aircraft is fitted with the touch-screen on-demand IFE system. In line with the airline’s philosophy of passengers paying for the extras they choose, there are different options to choose from. The basic package, priced at AED 10, includes all TV programmes, audio and games, while the Premium package, which costs AED 30, includes everything in the Basic package plus movies. Both packages include a free headset.
Daily newspapers, flydubai news, the route map and information, however, are free of charge on all flights. – SG
