MAKKAH – Eight women sustained minor injuries when a small fire broke out at a beauty salon in Makkah late Wednesday.
The electricity box of the building in which the beauty salon is located first caught fire. The salon was soon filled with smoke. Twenty women and seven children were trapped inside till Civil Defense personnel could come and rescue them.
Eight women suffered smoke inhalation. Seven were treated on the site, while one was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. – SG
