MANILA – Filipino actress-singer-dancer Vina Morales is set to make her stage debut in “Rock of Ages,” the Broadway play being adapted locally by Atlantis Productions. In the play that will be staged starting June, Morales plays Sherrie, an aspiring performer in Los Angeles. She joins an all-star cast including singers Mig Ayesa and Nyoy Volante.
Morales, 36, said she felt privileged to be doing the part, which “completes” the range of roles she has done through the years. It is her first time to be in theater. “Now I can say I’ve done everything,” she told ABS-CBN.com. — SG
