DAMMAM/TAIF – The Ministry of Labor warned all Hafiz beneficiaries against providing inaccurate information when they fill out Hafiz applications or submit documents. The ministry warned that it will refer those found guilty to the relevant court without hesitation.
Ibrahim Al-Moaiqel, director general of the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), said the ministry will continue to educate beneficiaries about the importance of updating their information online regularly.
“Once 30 days have been passed, fines will be imposed upon beneficiaries who do not do so.”
A large number of Hafiz beneficiaries complained that it is difficult for them to log on to the website and update their information on a weekly basis. This was especially problematic for those who do not have access to Internet services. They called upon officials who are in charge of running the Hafiz program to require beneficiaries to update their information once a month or every 15 days instead.
Hafiz beneficiaries have been informed of the new procedures via SMS text messages. Those who fail to update their information once a week will be subject to penalties.
