Madina Highway Patrol arrest drug smugglers

MADINA – The Madina Highway Patrol arrested drug smugglers in two separate incidents over the past two weeks.
Earlier this week Madina Highway checkpoint officers tried to stop a suspicious young driver with a passenger in an abaya. After the driver defied the police order to stop, he was chased and eventually pulled over. A large quantity of hashish was found in the car.
Last week, the Highway Patrol prevented an expatriate from smuggling 49,000 Captagon pills into Jeddah. He hid the pills inside
