Mobily launches new service for people with special needs

RIYADH – Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) launched a new and exclusive service for the deaf and the mute people which enables them to easily access Islamic, entertaining and cultural content via their mobile phones.
The service is offered as WAP content to be sent on a daily basis in the form of sign language audio and video clips, containing some of the well known religion scholars like Al Sheikh Mohammed Mtwali Al Shaearawi, and preacher Tarik Al Sweidan, in addition to many other contents related to cooking, poetry, alongside the interpretation of dreams and much more.
Mobily said it is offering both its prepaid and postpaid subscribers this service free of charge for one week. For those who wish to subscribe, they can send the desired channel code to 606248.
Via this new service, Mobily is emphasizing its keenness to come up with innovative technologies that serve the needs of all its subscribers especially those with special needs, not to mention its eagerness to harness its technical abilities into raising the religious and cultural awareness in people with special needs, as well as entertain them in their free time. – SG
