“Parents’ involvement constitutes a critical part of achieving high- quality education thereby ensuring an overall development of the student,” said Dr. Haifa. “We are thrilled to see so many parents and it highlights the importance of their role in their daughters’ academic success.”
?Faculty members, Dr. Rania Ibrahim, Dr. Zaki Malasi and Dr. Mohammad Khan shared their experiences with some students, narrating to them some memorable moments of their lives. “We are happy to witness parents’ involvement in students’ education process,” they said.
“Effat University continuously works to support students’ learning and development by engaging them in extra and co-curricular activities,” said Dr. Samirah Zaidan, mother of Leena Al-Yedreessy, a student. “This helps them to develop new skills and gain knowledge in the areas that interests them.” ?The university also launched a Parents Electronic Gate through their website to enable parents to participate in their daughters’ education at all levels. “Since the families and the university are equal partners, we would like to have parents on board on each decision that affects the students,” said Dr.Haifa Jamal Allail.
Dr. Rania Ibrahim, dean of the students initiated a free discussion between professors and parents. “As we ask and expect more from our students, we must also ask and expect more from our parents as their participation is valuable for us to excel and provide the best education for their loved ones,” she said.
