RIYADH — The General Organization for Pensions has given the go-ahead for state-of-the-art housing projects in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam.
Muhammad Al-Kharashi, organization’s Governor made the announcement at a press conference here Wednesday where he also revealed that a housing project in Jizan is being studied. The projects schedules and budgets have already been approved. However, further programming, management and coordination are needed to prevent any problems occurring.
Al-Kharashi said electricity, sewage and water authorities are working closely to ensure there are no problems in the services and public utilities.
The announcement was made during a tour by Dr. Shuwaish Al-Duwaihi, Minister of Housing, and Yahya Al-Kasbi, his Jordanian counterpart to King Abdullah Financial Center Project.
Al-Kharashi said work on the 50 percent of the center’s project has been completed. “All that is left is the finishing, which is expected to be completed by the end of this year,” he said.
Al-Dhuwaihi expressed pride for the high standards of the projects. He saidAl-Kasbi chose to visit this big edifice due to its importance to the economy in the region and in ttracting investments.
