RIYADH — The Ministry of Education’s budgetary allocation was 13 percent more than what it had requested. Prince Faisal Bin Abdullah, Minister of Education, said the extra money will be used to benefit citizens and to implement the directives of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
The ministry will also introduce modern technology to manage human resources and improve the quality of education.

“Every one should hold himself accountable before Almighty Allah, and the leadership should provide necessary services to all citizens. I have no doubt that all the ministry’s staff work hard to build a future for the next generation and I’m sure they will rise to the occasion,” he said.
On the ministry’s future plans, Prince Faisal said it will work to improve the quality standards of all its educational programs.
Over the past 30 years, he said, the ministry has provided education to all citizens. In the next 30 years, it will work to achieve quality and realize King Abdullah’s dream that the Kingdom becomes a beacon of education and Islam.
