Dhahban gets first engineering college

JEDDAH — The Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khaled Bin Muhammad Al-Anqari inaugurated the first university college of engineering and information technology in Dhahban Saturday.
The college will operate under the umbrella of the Company of Business Administration Colleges.
During his address, the minister said: “I hope that this becomes a full university with different faculties and specializations. The institution will add a lot to the Kingdom’s higher education sector. Private higher education isn’t just a profitable project, it is also a developmental project with a noble message to citizens that will contribute to developing and building their country.”
The college is equipped with state-of-the-art technological facilities and services. The university’s campus area itself is over 40,000 sq. meters and its construction cost SR90 million. — SG/SPA
