Stolen vehicle goes unnoticed

RIYADH – The proud owner of a stolen car had his vehicle returned to him on Saturday before he had noticed it missing. Police in the capital, engaged in crackdowns on persons suspected of involvement in a variety of illegal activities, performed a number of raids on sites that had been under surveillance, and in one instance trailed a man suspected of driving a stolen car. The individual was arrested after patrols blocked his path, and the car was returned to its surprised owner. Police are investigating the detained man’s connections to other crimes of a similar nature. – Okaz/SG
