Jordanian twins in Riyadh

Jordanian conjoined twins arrived Saturday at the King Abdulaziz Medical City of the National Guard in Riyadh for an examination to consider the possibility of their separation. The twins, Muhammad and Amjad, were brought for treatment to the city on the orders of King Abdullah, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The twins were received at the city by Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeah, who said that the children, according to doctors in Jordan, are joined at the chest and stomach, liver, gallbladder and intestines. He added the two were admitted to the children’s ward and will be examined over the coming few days. – By Nawwaf Afit/Okaz-SG
