MAKKAH - In a move designed to improve services to the public the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs is to send in undercover staff into municipality and mayoralty offices posing as members of the public.
Abdul Rahman Al-Dahmas, the Supervisor General of the ministry’s Assessment Scheme, which seeks to identify and improve weaknesses in staff performance, said the “ministry agents” would be watching out for any failures to properly serve the public.
“It’s all part of the Assessment Scheme to evaluate the efficiency of staff in carrying out the tasks assigned to them, as well as the way they deal with the public,” Al-Dahmas said. – Okaz/SG
